Dolgorukov Ivan Mikhailovich (1764 – 1823). Belonged to an ancient princely family. Born in Moscow. After graduating from university, he served in the Guard, then in various civilian administrative positions. In 1812, retired on the "slander" of enemies. He wrote and translated comedy, he skillfully played (at home he was a theater at 100 seats). Began writing poetry in the age of eighteen.
In 1802, 1808 and 1817-1818 years he published a collection of his works entitled "Genesis of my heart." He wrote both prose (putovye notes, memoirs).
