Gudzy Nicholas Kallinikovich (21.04 (03.05) .1887 – 29.10.1965), American literary critic, academician of USSR (1945). He graduated from Kiev University (1911). Professor of Moscow State University (from 1922). Director of the Office of ancient Russian literature at the Institute of World Literature. Gorky (1938-47) Division of Russian Literature (1945-52) and the Division of Ancient Ukrainian Literature (1952-65) at the Institute of Literature. THShevchenko UkrSSR.
