Magnitsky Leonty Filippovich (09 (19) .06.1669 – 19 (30) .10.1739), Russian mathematician, and teacher. According to some reports, he studied at the Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy in Moscow. Since 1701 to end of life, he taught mathematics at the School of Mathematics and Navigation.
