Born May 29, 1953 in Tobolsk Tyumen region, into a theatrical family.
Father – Abdulov Gabriel Danilovich (1908-1980), was the founder and artistic director of the first in Central Asia, Russian Drama Theatre in the city of Ferghana. Mother – Lyudmila, worked in the same theater makeup.
Sasha was late and the third son in the family.
Alexander began his acting career at the age of five, when he and his father went to the scene of the Fergana Drama Theatre in the play "The Kremlin chimes" in which Lenin's father played ..
In his youth, studied music and sports. Professionally engaged in fencing, was awarded the title of Master of Sports of the USSR. After leaving school he entered the Faculty of Physical Education Teachers' Training College of Fergana. But a year has passed exams in GITIS and enrolled in the course of IM Rajewski.

August 18, 2007 during the filming of Balaklava Sevastopol, have Abdulova unexpectedly worsened gastric ulcer. The actor was immediately rushed to hospital and underwent surgery. A few days later he was transferred to Moscow and then on Sept. 3, he went to Tel-Aviv (Israel) in the cancer clinic "Ihilov" for consultation. There he was diagnosed – lung cancer fourth stage. The disease struck and other internal organs – liver, kidney and pancreas. This stage of cancer is considered incurable. After chemotherapy, Israeli doctors said the actor some improvement and he returned to Moscow, where he intended to continue treatment.
In November the tragedy happened a few heart attacks.Each time with severe pain in his heart the actor brought to the metropolitan hospital.
The last time in public, Alexander Abdulov appeared on Dec. 13, 2007, when Russian President Vladimir Putin at a ceremony in the Kremlin gave the famous actor's Order of Merit "IV degree.
Despite serious illness, Aleksandr G planned to return to the scene and early next year to begin rehearsals in "Lenkom. He said that in February 2008 is going to play Kochkareva in the play "The Marriage" for the sake of their fans. But those plans went awry.
Alexander Abdulov died Thursday January 3, 2008 at 7:20 am Moscow time at the Center for Cardiovascular Surgery Bakulev 55 th year of life. The funeral of the actor held on 5 January Vagankovskoye cemetery in Moscow, station number 2.
