Ryabushkin Andrei Petrovich (1861 – 1904), was born in a family of peasant icon painter. At the age of fourteen years, Andrew was left an orphan, but was able to enroll in training at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he worked from 1875 to 1882. Shortly after he died VG Perov – Teacher Ryabushkin Andrew continued his studies at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, from 1882 to 1890. In the process of studying paintings Ryabushkin always deserves high marks, they received awards, but his thesis – painting "Descent from the Cross" (1890) has received a large gold medal at the fact that the artist has departed from the sketch approved by the Academy. Nevertheless, visited the studio of artist P. Tretyakov bought his picture, and the Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, is president of the Academy of Arts, singled Ryabushkin from his personal funds the same amount, which is assumed to be a gold medal on a trip abroad. Instead of a trip abroad Ryabushkin to travel around the old city in Russia, visited Uglich, Kostroma, Novgorod, Kiev, Orel, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Rostov, Yaroslavl. During these visits Ryabushkin enthusiastically examined museums, studied Houseware Russia, clothing, weapons. The artist constantly creating sketches of churches, copying the ancient ornaments. Soon Ryabushkin moved to the estate of Freedom, near St. Petersburg, belonged to his friend, IF Tyumenev. Here in the studio created for him, Ryabushkin wrote two versions of genre painting "Waiting for newlyweds from the wedding in the Novgorod Province" (1891), song for "fun in kruzhale" (1892). These works were on exhibition Ryabushkin Wanderers. In 1893, Andrei Petrovich created the painting "The seat of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich to the sovereign's boyars in his room," in 1895 – the painting "The Moscow street XVII century on a holiday, in 1896 there painting" Family merchant in the XVII Century, in 1899 year wrote "Russian women XVII century in the church." Artworks Ryabushkin are appreciated at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900, the creativity of the artist to appreciate and V. Polenov, and Repin. In 1901 Ryabushkin wrote one of the most famous of his paintings – "Wedding train in Moscow (XVII century)." The last three years of his life, Andrei Petrovich Ryabushkin held in the manor relative Tyumenev – Belyaeva. In 1904 Ryabushkin died of pulmonary tuberculosis.
