Born January 26, 1953 in Tashkent.
In 1974 he graduated from the acting course of the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography, the head of the course – People's Artist of the USSR and Russia Igor P. Vladimirov.
In 1972, another student, went on stage Lensoviet in the role of Daniel in the play Vladimirov "doors slammed next to such artists as Alice Freundlich, Anatoly Ravikovich, Galina Nikulina. Upon completion of the course became an actress "lensovetovskoy" troupe. Thanks s remarkable scenic talent quickly became one of the leaders of the troupe. In 1984. awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the RSFSR"
